The mechanical plugs are constructed from two aluminum plates joined by a rubber gasket. Thanks to the extremely resistant material they are designed for permanent or temporary use.
Excellent for clogging drain pipes.
The hollow screw also makes them suitable for performing air or water tests.
The screw sealing cap can be tightened or removed depending on the function to be performed (to stop or testing)
Simple twist-on installation
Quick release for easy removal and reuse
Applications
Mechanical plugs are suitable for all sewage systems when working at low pressure
Obturation: Excellent solution for blocking a pipe. The particular structure allows the mechanical cap to be used over and over again.
Water or air test: They can also be used for exhaust air or water testing.
Use
To close Pipe: By tightening the wing nut, the aluminum washers are pressed against each other by pressing the rubber profile against the inner wall of the tube forming a sealing gasket for the obturation. Temporary or permanent closure of the tube
Water or air testing: The hollow screw also serves as a test connection for water and air testing
Select the correct size of the mechanical plug, based on the internal diameter of the tube. Remove any grease or foreign material from the installation point. Make sure that the plug is inserted perpendicular to the wall of the pipe. Check that the wing nut and retaining cap are tight.
