Calibration Hose AIRBAGLINER® heat resistant up to 150 ° C *
Quick and easy the ability to reach thanks to the high sliding
Pressure resistance up to 2 bar (The test was terminated at an air pressure of 1.5 bar)
Extremely Durable: Can be reused up to 6 times
Ultra thin and flexible to tackle curves
Extremely fast: Thanks to the high temperature resistance of the vapor, 50 m of sheath can be cured in less than an hour!
Zero risk of tearing: the calibrator does not tear further if pierced by a fragment
* max recommended temperature: 100° C to avoid damaging the host pipe
Applications
Liner protection in vapor curing
The preliner AIRBAGLINER® withstands up to 150 ° C and protects the liner during heating
For protection of the liner during inversion
During the compression phase of the impregnated sock against the damaged wall of the pipe, the sock is not damaged as it is protected by the calibrator.
If portions of piping are missing, the calibrator is needed as a base for the liner, preventing excessive swelling.
To stop resin leakage
If the host tube is damaged, the calibrator prevents the resin from escaping outside the existing tube
Avoid washing the resin
In case of groundwater deposit or water infiltration, the preliner avoids the washing of the resin during the polymerization phases
Use
Installation between impregnated Liner and Calibration Hose
It is installed in the pipeline by pulling or inverting it and is positioned between the pipeline to be restored and the filled Liner.
In this way, during the compression phase of the filled liner against the wall, the liner will not be damaged and therefore it will be possible to proceed with the polymerization process.
Installation between the filled Liner and the inner pipe
The soaked liner is inserted inside the calibrator. After the inversion phase, the calibrator is inside the liner and allows the latter to be protected during the heating phase. At the end of the polymerization the liner is recovered
